Tadd A. Holzen

Tadd has experience in all aspects of the business, focusing on sales and leasing of office, retail and industrial properties. As a turnaround specialist, Tadd has enjoyed great success in assisting clients rebuild the tenancy and create value in a property. Through the recent market downturn and the one in the early 90's he helped investors and owners stabilize properties, gain income and position properties for divestment. An owner's mentality and a hands on approach towards leasing and management has contributed greatly to many mutually rewarding outcomes.
As the broker has a vested interest in a successful transaction, and construction management can be a vital part, Tadd holds a general contractor's license to help clients throughout the design and build process.
Tadd maintains North Carolina and Florida real estate licenses, as well as a North Carolina General Contractors License.
Having grown up in the family development and construction business, Tadd transitioned naturally into brokerage. Formally entering the business in 1989 with Coldwell Banker Commercial in Cincinnati, and relocating in 1991 to Palm Beach County, Florida, he has consistently completed transactions even through the most difficult of real estate markets.

Brokerage services are available for most property types within the Piedmont/Lake Norman Region and for select transactions throughout North Carolina.
As with many transactions, particularly leases, the discussion process moves forward smoothly between the parties, with agreements made for up-fit costs, date of delivery, etc. Not being a party to the discussions, when work is handed off to a general contractor they may not have the same focus on the promises made that were critical aspects of the lease.
The broker has a vested interest in a successful transaction, and construction management should be a vital part of the process. Our parent company, T.A. Holzen Commercial, Inc., maintains a general contractors license should a transaction necessitate permitted construction.
